La polémique continue outre-Atlantique. Alors que NNSS Paprocki et Cordileone et ont rappelé le difficulté patente à honorer un politicien américaine pro-avortement, Mgr Cordileone a souligné le malaise en indiquant ce qu’il en serait si on saluait un responsable public favorable aux tirs à vue sur des migrants illégaux. Il est même question de correction fraternelle, comme on peut le voir sur ce tweet:
